One-on-One Consulting

Following the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to sit down individually with workshop leaders to review your specific challenges and needs.  This has become a TargetX tradition and previous attendees have stated that they appreciate the ability to discuss their specific institution one-on-one with the presenters while the content is fresh in their minds.

Optional Day 2

As is TargetX's custom, we'll focus on tips and best practices at the workshop — not sales. For those interested in hearing more about TargetX, we are offering an optional second day at no cost. Whether you're already a client or just curious, you'll have a chance to learn about the future of TargetX and the solutions we provide. Build on something you learned at the workshop, discuss your individual needs, see demonstrations of new products — or get valuable tips on the TargetX tools you're already using.

Workshop Presenters

Brian Niles is nationally recognized as an interactive marketer and leading authority on electronic recruiting in higher education. He frequently appears as a speaker and workshop leader at conferences around the country and hosts a regular podcast and blog entitled "The Recruiting Revolution." Prior to co-founding TargetX and becoming its CEO in 1998, Brian served for over 15 years in college admissions and enrollment management positions and as a consultant for various nonprofit organizations.

Jeff Kallay is one of the more provocative and entertaining voices in higher education marketing today. One of his many areas of expertise is the emerging experience economy and how it relates to the top two influencers in a prospective student's decision to apply: the college website and the campus visit. He is higher education’s first Experience Evangelist, and there’s no one more qualified to hold that title. He focuses on the critical role of face-to-face interaction, especially campus tours and other in-person events.

Adrienne Bartlett is TargetX's Client Concierge and works with clients to coordinate online initiatives like email, student blogs, online chats and social networks. She is the author of the weekly XpertTips blog and also contributes regularly to TargetX's Recruiting Revolution podcast. When she's not working directly with clients, Adrienne is a popular speaker on the use of new media and the social web in admissions. Prior to joining TargetX in 2005, she was a college admissions officer where she managed marketing communications efforts and the campus visit experience.

Our presenters will be joined by some of your colleagues in higher education who will share their experiences and offer insights into the changing nature of interactive recruiting.
