Job Summary:

The Sales Team at TargetX is looking for an Account Executive who is passionate about helping institutions of higher education deliver on their mission. We are seeking a sales performer with experience selling complex technology in a consultative manner, familiarity with student recruitment and/or CRM software, and experience working with higher education.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Development of a territory plan that meets or exceeds quarterly quotas
  • Engagement with prospects via telephone and email, following sales cycle from prospect to successful deal closure. This includes providing prompt responses to every inbound lead and delivering demos as needed.
  • Consulting prospective clients to ensure TargetX solutions will be the right fit and navigating them through a rapid sales process
  • Identification and creation of new qualified sales opportunities from inbound leads and outbound sales initiatives and programs.
  • Collaboration with Marketing on lead generation projects.

Experience Required and Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • At least five years experience in higher ed enrollment or in enterprise software sales. Ideal candidates will have both
  • Familiarity and comfort with CRM technology, preferably Salesforce.com
  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Client Support Specialist

Client Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Client Support Specialist with a passion for supporting customer success to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, prior experience in technical support, and the aptitude to learn new software. The Client Support Specialist will primarily serve as front-line support for new and existing clients, assist in the management of documentation and an online client support community, and may facilitate working sessions or trainings virtually.

Job Summary:

The Marketing Associate position assists the Senior Marketing Manager in developing and implementing TargetX’s marketing activities, which includes outbound marketing and lead generation campaigns; thought leadership webinars, blog posts, and ebooks; conferences and trade shows; and TargetX’s annual users’ conference. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their marketing career to gain experience across multiple facets of marketing as well as experience working with multiple departments and senior leadership.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute lead generation and other marketing activities
  • Assist in the development of promotional strategies, campaigns, and tactics that will help increase demand for the company’s products and services among key audiences
  • Manage all conference activities, including schedule, logistics, proposals and supporting materials and promotions
  • Oversee the logistics and management of the company’s events, including the annual TargetX users’ conference
  • Help create and coordinate communication projects, including publicity, direct mail, electronic and social media, conferences and special events
  • Assist with development of short and long-term plans and budgets for conferences and events, monitor progress and evaluate performance
  • Assist with company website through WordPress, including but not limited to building content and monitoring analytics
  • Assist with the development, integration, and execution of TargetX’s content for key audiences in higher education

Experience Required and Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or similar major
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience with copywriting (web and print)
  • Experience with marketing automation software, event planning, or graphic design a big plus
  • Experience working with a content management system, InDesign, Illustrator, and/or Photoshop strongly preferred
  • Higher Education experience a big plus (preferably in an admissions or advancement office).
