Job Summary:

The Sales Team at TargetX is looking for an Account Executive who is passionate about helping institutions of higher education deliver on their mission. We are seeking a sales performer with experience selling complex technology in a consultative manner, familiarity with student recruitment and/or CRM software, and experience working with higher education.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Development of a territory plan that meets or exceeds quarterly quotas
  • Engagement with prospects via telephone and email, following sales cycle from prospect to successful deal closure. This includes providing prompt responses to every inbound lead and delivering demos as needed.
  • Consulting prospective clients to ensure TargetX solutions will be the right fit and navigating them through a rapid sales process
  • Identification and creation of new qualified sales opportunities from inbound leads and outbound sales initiatives and programs.
  • Collaboration with Marketing on lead generation projects.

Experience Required and Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • At least five years experience in higher ed enrollment or in enterprise software sales. Ideal candidates will have both
  • Familiarity and comfort with CRM technology, preferably Salesforce.com

Job Summary:

TargetX is seeking an experienced, consultative sales professional who is passionate about applying technology to improve the recruitment and retention of students in higher education. The Account Executive is responsible for selling a suite of offerings to colleges and universities, including TargetX’s Recruitment CRM and Retention CRM solutions. This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and is responsible for achieving new sales quotas within the territory. The position is entrepreneurial and those who succeed in this role are 1) familiar with and passionate about higher education and higher education technology, 2) excellent problem solvers, and  3) successfully able to build relationships with all levels of staff within a university.

Professionals without sales experience will be considered if 1) they have strong experience in higher ed admissions and 2) have relevant experience working with technology within higher ed.

Primary Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop a territory plan to exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Develop and execute account and opportunity strategies to win new business
  • Lead prospects through entire sales cycle from the first call to successful deal closure. This includes prospecting and managing inbound leads.
  • Engage with prospects in a consultative process to thoroughly assess their needs and propose appropriate services
  • Collaborate with Marketing on lead generation projects.
  • Ensure successful sales through professional and timely responses, sound knowledge of services available, and timely sales execution.
  • Travel as required to prospects, customers, or marketing events (approximately 60% travel)

Experience Required and Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 10+ years of overall work experience with track record of success in consultative sales and solution selling of SaaS applications or IT consulting services; or background in management consulting, IT strategy, or technical sales support. Professionals without sales experience will be considered if 1) they have strong experience in higher ed admissions and 2) have relevant experience working with technology within higher ed.

Director, Data Science

Director, Product Management - Analytics

Implementation Consultant

Location: Nationwide, with a preference for the Philadelphia Region

Job Summary: 

TargetX is looking for a head of Data Engineering, someone with strong skills in who is highly motivated to build and lead our backend engineering team for our innovative new Ed-Tech SaaS solutions. Reporting directly to the CTO, this role will oversee the existing User Features team, and be responsible for hiring, mentoring and scaling our team.

We’re in process on building a full new stack for rapid deployment of our new interfaces, based primarily on React.js and React.native, and heavily leveraging Graph.ql. The work will include the development of brand new functionality and interfaces, re-imagining existing legacy features, and expanding what our clients can accomplish with our software.

Experience with fast-paced agile development methodologies around new products is a must, as is expertise in scalability, particularly with challenges around the varying seasonalities of the college admission cycle. We’re looking for a strong architecture foundation and skills, based on hands-on experience, rather than theoretical.

This is a hands-on position, so no “powerpoint managers”.  Get ready to roll up your sleeves to help mentor your developers, review specifications, discuss architectures and technologies. Know your code, stats and how to keep improving quality at every release.  You must be able to collaborate well with other teams within the organization and understand how to think about technology management around strategic planning, architecture and infrastructure, and resource allocation.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Customer Insight & Communication:  

  • Engage with customers to understand product requirements.  Ensure the product reflects the market needs, and not for one specific customer or one sale.
  • Provide internal and Customer community updates on a regular basis

  • Assist marketing in positioning our solutions for both buyer and user personas.

Product Leadership:
