You Are:

  • An expert in web software development. Minimum 10+ years of software development experience with web-based Java, JS, Salesforce or Ruby-on Rails experience.

Project Manager

Reports to: Director, Client Success
Location: Preference for Philadelphia, PA or Oakland, CA
Travel Requirements: 25-35%

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience managing the implementation of CRM projects. As a Project Manager, you must have strong leadership and motivational skills to direct the project team effectively and to drive implementation both creatively and efficiently. You will report to the Director of Client Success and work closely with client and internal teams. The Project Manager will be a key member of the Implementation Team and will be responsible and accountable for successful implementation of multiple TargetX CRM solutions for colleges and universities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Obtain a clear understanding of client business process, needs and requirements.
  • Establish the project’s overall critical path and success factors, develop project plan, and ensure that all project phases adhere to the agreed-upon timeline.
  • Monitor the execution of all deliverables and milestones across projects and update project plans actively.
  • Manage internal and external resources and ensure that the project team has the necessary information and skill sets to complete the project successfully and on-time.
  • Prioritize, mitigate and monitor project risks and their impact.
  • Assist project team in troubleshooting and finding solutions to unforeseen issues.
  • Communicate regularly with and manage expectations of clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Take ownership of, manage and obtain approvals for all change requests, particularly regarding scope and budget in partnership with the Account Executive.
  • Leverage and help develop standard tools to manage the project – i.e. project plan, risk log status report, etc.

Goals and Objectives:

The top objective of this position is to ensure that our clients experience a successful CRM implementation. The person in this role will be successful if:

  • CRM projects are implemented on-time.
  • Clients are satisfied with the implementation and feel supported throughout the process.
  • CRM is being used strategically and actively by the client team.

Experience Required and Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across cross functional internal and client teams.
  • Ability to manage own workload independently, multi-task, and prioritize effectively.
  • Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages.
  • Relevant experience in higher education highly desired.
  • Highest personal and professional values that are aligned with the TargetX fundamentals.
  • Strong understanding of business software, including CRM and Microsoft Office/Google Docs.
  • Salesforce familiarity preferred.

Technical Writer

Reports to: Documentation & QA Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a strong Technical Writer to join our fast growing company and produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products! The right candidate will be responsible for leading the writing and design of user documentation for simple to complex implementations on our full suite of SaaS applications (Web and Mobile). You will work collaboratively within the Products and Technology team with Product Managers, Developers and Quality Assurance to create and validate user documentation. You will identifies and document software features and implementation steps in a fast-paced, fluid and changing environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
  • Work closely with Support Team to create/update documentation in order to accommodate customer needs.
  • Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
  • Write easy-to- understand user guides, online help and technical guides.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Experience Required and Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation.
  • Ability to deliver high quality documentation with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
